The suburbs of Nailsea Bristol have proven to be the most unlikely inspiration for a alternative wedding photography location.
Showers before Kylie and Darren’s wedding at The Battleaxes Pub in Wraxall forced wedding photographer Hacker to scout out some alternative locations and in doing so, stumbled across a brilliant place to shoot suburban wedding photography.
“Something about the plastic doors and windows inspired me that morning.” says Hacker. “It was quite funny noticing the curtain twitchers peeping out, wondering what we were up to. At least we will have given them something to talk about at this month’s Neighbourhood Watch meeting.” he laughs.
The couple swung by an industrial estate his go-to location, for a few more shots before returning to their guests.
The ceremony was a lively one with performances from The Paper Birds – a theatre performance group, co-founded by Kylie.
During the reception guests were entertained with a ‘Guess The Year’ music quiz, hosted and with each track performed by one of The Paper Birds.
